Southwest Missouri Celtic Heritage Festival & Highland Games - Clan Registration 2024

Description

The Southwest Missouri Celtic Heritage Festival & Highland Games celebrates the heritage of the Buffalo Head Prairie by the immigrants that settled in the area and created Buffalo, Missouri.

Clans represented will provide a living history of their clan from Scotland to their influence in the creation of America. They will also provide information for Genealogical study and resources for those wishing to further their ties to the people from the Celtic areas in history. The clans will participate in a traditional Calling of the Clans torch ceremony on Friday night and will march in a clan parade and presentation on Saturday.

This year's Honored Clan is Clan Maxwell.

The final registration deadline is August 30th.

Time

SET-UP TIMES:

On Friday set up will be from 12 PM - 4:30 PM. The Gates will open to the public at 5 pm. All tents MUST be set-up and vehicles removed from the area by 4:30 PM.

On Saturday set up will be from 7 AM - 8:30 AM. The Gates will open to the public at 9 AM. All tents MUST be set-up and vehicles removed from the area by 8:30 AM.

*If you require additional set-up time please contact us so arrangements can be made.

Friday - Gates open at 5 pm

Calling of the Clans Torch Ceremony 7 pm

Saturday - Gates open at 9 am

Highland Games - 9 am - and run all-day

Music starts at 9 am schedule TBD

Calling of the Clans parade and presentation on Saturday is at Noon

Pricing

Clan Tent Space is $15 for each Clan Represented on Clan Row.

Your tent fee includes two (2) adult tickets for admission to the festival.

*Additional people at your tent will have to purchase tickets. Ticket prices are listed below:

Admission on Friday is FREE

Advanced tickets - (Tickets can be purchased at the Festival on Friday, Sept 10, 2021)

Adults $8

Senior Citizens (age 60 or older) and Children (ages 6-13) $5

Family Pass - 4 tickets (2 adults & 2 children) $20

Admission at the gate Saturday -

$10 each for adults

$8 for senior citizens (age 60 or older) and children (ages 6-13)

Children 5 and under get in FREE.

Family Pass (2 adults & 2 children) $25
