The Southwest Missouri Celtic Heritage Festival & Highland Games is celebrating it's 21st year!
The Southwest Missouri Celtic Heritage Festival & Highland Games celebrates the heritage of the Buffalo Head Prairie by the immigrants who settled in the area and created Buffalo, Missouri.
Highland games have been a part of Scotland's culture for hundreds of years and are just as popular today as they've ever been. Highland games are so popular, that when Scots emigrated to other lands, they took the tradition across the world with them. Highland games have taken place in America since 1836, but also run in other countries such as Canada, Norway, New Zealand, and Brazil.
Built around traditional Highland sports our highly competitive games include:
the Bramer Stone Toss
